Meet 'Moe'

Therapy Dog in Training

'Moe' is the four-legged member of Scappoose Mental Health Services LLC. She is beginning her journey toward becoming a professional therapy dog.

Her training goals include developing the calm temperament, manners, and skills needed to pursue recognized canine certifications, including the AKC Canine Good Citizen program, as she works toward future therapy dog certification.

For now, Moe's role is mostly behind the scenes. She may be nearby during Telehealth sessions, though she isn't involved in our treatment or expected to make an appearance.

So, if you occasionally hear a mysterious bump, the rustle and enthusiastic ripping of paper, or another small sound in the background, there's a very good chance Moe is present and quietly working on her own professional development.

As her training progresses, this page will follow her journey and accomplishments.
